What is a life well lived? To me, it has to be experiences.
I’m the memory maker in my family. From tailgates, to Easter dinner, to watching a future princess get married on TV, I make it an event. I know my family will roll their eyes and laugh about ‘forced fun’ but why not have some fun?
Every trip we take as a family is a memory in the making. A couple of years ago, we were in a cab with a driver who REALLY loved the Backstreet Boys. To this day we still laugh about the guy blaring his music and we can’t hear a song by the Backstreet Boys without thinking of that drive. It’s not about where you go or what you do, it’s the memories you make with the ones you love.
Someday I want to be a very old lady with lots of photos and stories of fun experiences with my friends and family. That will be a life well spent.
