In November of 2019 I had the opportunity to travel back to Honduras, but this time I was unafraid. After several conversations with my new friend, Suzanne Crawford with Missions in Action, I knew I had to return to help as much as I could. We had an initial plan of building a community garden in the area I visited in June. We ended up with two gardens at two separate schools and plans for three more in 2020. The weather in these remote villages of southern Honduras is very dry and extremely warm. Water is a scarcity so these gardens will need access to water. We are hoping to install rain collecting barrels at locations that do not have access to water before the rainy season starts in May.
